COMMENTS:

Darryl says: He’s feeling OB Buchana’s “Parking Lot Love Affair” on Ecko.

Cecily says: says she likes Kenny Latimore’s song “Stay On Your Mind” on Sincere Soul Records.

Tori says: Today is the 17th anniversary of the loss of my father, Robert “Bob” Carl Bailey, who passed away here at WZZA Radio, in the place that he loved so much. I am proud of his many accomplishments, including establishing a voice for an underserved community, advocating for our folks, and improving the lives of others. And I am honored to able to follow in his footsteps, overseeing the operation of his legacy. He was very much one of a kind, will never be replaced, and is missed every day. With God’s grace, the loyalty of our listeners, and the partnership with our industry friends, we will continue being the “Soul of the Shoals”. Thanks to each of you for providing WZZA with wonderful music through the years. And know that we truly appreciate your support of this radio station. Love and blessings to you all, Tori
