COMMENTS:

Darryl says: Snatch Nelson’s “Outside Man” and Leon Thomas f/Buddy “Favorite'” are both great songs.

Cecily says: …is feeling Luke James “Drip” cuz people go thru stuff every day so we should all just let it drip.

Tori says: I take that to mean we should let troubles roll off like water off a duck’s back. Then I remembered the phrase Mitch Faulkner used when he considered something to be insignificant. He’d say “That’s like two tears in a bucket.” I liked that so I used to say it too. Then I said it one day during a conversation with an old classmate, who immediately followed with, “Yeah and if that don’t fill it, Mother F*** it.” Ok who knew? It does rhyme, but it took me by surprise. (“You mean that’s what I’ve been saying all these years?”) Went down to T-Town Saturday to make my funk the P Funk. Doc started off by making us sick then giving us the antidote to make us feel better! I LOVE my Uncle Funkenstein! His funk is the best… Cecily says Doc is the one who came up with the two tears phrase in the movie “House Party”. Then she showed me the clip. Well damn! Again, who knew? She did. I love our little gatherings! Shelia E started it off, followed by Morris Day, then the one, the only, Dr. Funk himself. And they all burned the stage all the way up! Yay!!! Ok. Now I’m all hyped up.
