COMMENTS:

Darryl says: He likes Grace “Clap Your Hands” on RCA. (Tori does also.)

Cecily says: She’s feeling Anthony David’s song “I Can’t Write Left-Handed” which is a cover from a song done by Bill Wither’s back in the ’70’s. (How does the child know this?)

Tori says: We’re paying lots of homage to Sister Aretha Franklin, who recorded her very first hit here in the Shoals, where some of the best music in the world is made. Not so long ago, I did an interview with a fellow named Spooner Oldham, who came up with the opening notes on “I’ve Never Loved A Man (The Way That I Love You”. Her initial collaboration with our Shoals musicians led to a lifetime of hits by the Queen of Soul. It was nice to hear from my old pal Kenny Diamond the other day. Peace and love to all of ya’ll.
