COMMENTS:

Darryl says: Southern Soul Artist Lonnie Robinson has a song called “Two Women” that tells the world how he (and apparently Darryl) treat their ladies.

Cecily says: She likes Jason Derulo f/ French Montana’s “TipToe” and Bruno Mars f/Cardi B’s “Finesse”. (I made her listen to an old song by an odd fellow named Tiny Tim called “Tip Toe Through The Tulips” and she told me that song stayed stuck in her head after that. On the other hand, I keep singing Jason’s song.)

Tori says: Yay for Mitch starting his first day at Radio One Classix with a bang! RadioFacts reported on it saying, “as part of The Tom Joyner Morning Show, longtime veteran Mitch Faulkner joins Radio One, Atlanta as the morning show and local producer as well as hosting his Classic R&B Show Saturdays from 7p to 12m… Mitch told them, “I’m proud to join the team at Radio One/Atlanta. Classix 102.9 plays the music I grew up with… It’s refreshing to work with a company that ‘gets’ urban radio and do it right! Plus I get to work with a management team that I have known and watched over the years. I feel this year will be the best of my career.” Now that’s saying something! Mitch has been looking forward to this (although he’s probably not half as excited as me and the rest of his fans) and he called me this morning at 4:50am (cuz we’re on central time over here but he’s about the only somebody who could get away with doing that, lol!) to tell me he was about to do the danged thang (or words to that effect) and that he was gonna use his WZZA ink pen! If you’ve not heard him on the air, you really should tune in and check him out. Mitch does radio the way it’s s’posed to be. Now then, it’s colder in Alabama than in Alaska. Crazy! It snowed this morning so I drove around picking up members of our staff to bring them to work. No snow day at WZZA dadgummit! Ha Haaaa! Tori
