Tori says:  We are thrilled that WZZA’s 7^th annual Radio-thon for Sickle Cell Anemia is continuing to pull in donations, although the goal was $10,000.00, we’ve reached over $12,000.00 and the money is still coming in.  People have been wonderful about helping those who have Sickle Cell by pitching in and helping.  Wow.  On another note, will ya’ll please call your congressmen and tell them to stay strong and do the right thing to help our president get this health care bill passed…  finally.

Darryl says:  He is liking Ruben Studdard’s single “Don’t Make ‘Em Like U” and apparently so are Ruben’s fans.  The boy can’t help having talent, being from Alabama like he is, so it was inevitable that he would have a new hit soon. 

 

Tori says:  WZZA just held our 7^th annual Radio-thon for Sickle Cell Anemia and it was a huge success.  We’ve surpassed our weekend goal of $10,000 and pledges and donations are still coming in.  We are so grateful to our listeners for reaching out and helping us help those who suffer from Sickle Cell Disease.  It has been a wonderful experience.
